A series of oil paintings on canvas or linen, depicting glassware holding liquids and occasionally other organic objects, set against dark backgrounds. The following oil paintings, completed between 2001 and 2008, are light studies exploring reflection, refraction, dispersion etc. on transparent liquids and glass.
